Olympian Robert Bryant helps out at training

Our thanks go to Olympian Robert Bryant for helping out all of our players at training!

A few facts you may not have known:

  • He was in the 1980 Moscow Olympics and the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics for mens water polo
  • He started playing water polo with Sutherland Waratah Club, as part of the St George Sutherland Water Polo Association in 1970’s.
  • He joined Cronulla Water Polo club when he was about 15 years old.
  • He was Club Captain / Registrar of Cronulla for several years and is a Life Member.
  • He has Coached Mens and Womens National League competitions, Grade and also teams in the Sutherland Shire Water Polo Association.
  • He is also an very experienced referee and mentor to numerous players / coaches and officials over the years.

He is also a member of numerous sporting clubs:

  • Club Captain at Cronulla Water Polo including the successful 25th anniversary year.
  • Also have been Cronulla Club Secretary, Registrar, Club Head Coach and Publicity Officer
  • Cronulla Clubman of the year a few times
  • St Patricks Soccer clubman of the year
  • Cronulla Polar Bears Clubman of the year
  • Club Captain at Cronulla Polar Bears
  • Elouera Patrol Member
  • Life member award at Both Cronulla Water Polo Club and Jannali Fitness Centre
